An Assistant That Already Existed, Now Sharper

Oura Advisor itself launched earlier, on March 31, 2025, as an in-app assistant that interprets a user’s sleep, activity, readiness, and resilience data in plain language rather than leaving people to puzzle over raw graphs. The decision to build a dedicated model rather than expand the general assistant reflects a well-documented gap in health technology: most consumer health apps and even many clinical AI tools are trained on datasets that underrepresent conditions specific to women’s health, from menstrual cycle variability to menopause-related symptoms and their interaction with sleep and recovery metrics that a ring can actually measure.
