The lineup is growing quickly. Oura released its first proprietary AI model purpose-built for women’s health, folded into its advisor to cover menstrual cycles, fertility, pregnancy and menopause. Lisa Health, in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, launched Midday, an app that uses AI to personalize the menopause journey. And companions like Harmoni listen to symptoms and surface patterns across sleep, mood and energy that women often struggle to connect on their own.

The bigger shift: continuous hormone tracking

The frontier is making hormones as easy to track as heart rate. Companies are developing saliva cartridges read by smartphone AI, biosensor patches, and noninvasive wearables like Clair that aim to track hormonal changes continuously. The continuous-hormone-monitoring market, valued at around $326 million in 2025, is projected to more than double by 2035 — a sign investors finally see the demand.

Why AI fits the problem

Menopause and hormonal health are messy, individual and pattern-driven — symptoms ebb and flow and interact in ways that are hard to track by memory. That’s exactly what AI is good at: ingesting months of sleep, cycle and symptom data and revealing the personal correlations a person could never spot alone. The result is guidance tailored to one body, not a generic pamphlet.

The caveat

These tools inform; they don’t diagnose or prescribe. Hormone predictions from consumer wearables vary in accuracy, and menopause care still belongs with a clinician — especially for decisions like hormone therapy. The apps are best used to track patterns and arrive at appointments with better questions, not to self-manage serious symptoms.

Why it matters

Half the population goes through menopause, and for generations they did it largely in the dark, dismissed or under-informed. AI-powered tools — backed increasingly by serious clinical partners — are bringing personalization and data to a transition that was long met with a shrug. That’s not just a gadget trend; it’s a long-overdue correction in who health technology is built for.
